Who We Are

Who are we....who, who, who, who? Well, we aren't related to Pete Townsend or Roger Daltry....although we do think highly of advertising creative produced in the UK. Across the pond, they seem to have a greater willingness to create really out of the box stuff. Chimera tries to do a bit of that here in the US of A...when our clients let us. The rest of it is in the trunk that we call: "our greatest work that our clients never let us do."

We work out of offices in Durango, Colorado — a great place to live; you should visit sometime (durango.org). All of us are independent, free thinkers, which can make for some interesting conversations and, more important, usually produces some great marketing work. Our clients get all the resources they need when they need it. There are no "junior" creative teams. We are all on the case, but only when we need to be. We don't waste time and so we don't waste your money. Our overhead is low and our pricing is reasonable. (We did not say "cheap" or "free.")

You'll get the big ideas of the big agencies in less time and for less bank. It's that simple.

When we need additional talent, we hire it. We have great vendor relationships (translation: we pay our bills on time and we show gratitude for our vendors' work), which means turnaround times are phenomenal and quality and efficiency are tended to by all of us who work on the project. All of us.

We're an ad agency, a branding firm, a marketing planning company, a web development group. We do graphic design and public relations, but mostly we just help you think of the things you don't have time to let your brain work on. We have no problem schlepping boxes to events and we really enjoy it when we feel like we're a part of your business, your company. It's all about relationship. This isn't accounting. It's subjective (although accounting is getting really creative lately, isn't it!?). We value — we need — our client's knowledge and input so we can create the surprise, relevance and emotion your audience is looking for.
